One can never have too many hummus recipes in her arsenal. Tortilla chips and protein-rich guacamole or a dip for veggies like pictured here either way, it is awesome!
1 can of chickpeas (drained- reserve 1/2 cup of the liquid from the can)
1 ripe avocado
2 cloves of garlic
juice of 1 large lime
1-inch piece of jalapeno
1 large handful of cilantro
1tsp of cumin
1 tsp salt
Put all ingredients in the blender. Blend until smooth. If you need to thin it out use the liquid from the chickpea can (or more lime juice if it could use it). Adjust the seasonings if needed (more jalapeno or garlic).
I like to top mine with Everything Bagel seasoning.
