Green smoothies are a great meal option if you want a quick and convenient balanced meal as well as an easy way to get more greens into your diet.
4-5 medium oranges peel and quartered
4 frozen bananas
3 cups tightly packed kale
3 cups spinach tightly packed
1/2 cup parsley lightly packed
1/2 cup mint lightly packed enough water to blend
Put the greens and herbs into blender with 2 cups of water and blend it down. Add the oranges and bananas and enough water to blend.
If not sweet enough to your liking add in a few drops of liquid stevia. Separate into 3 qt sized canning jars.
