I am a small town girl raised on the Pyramid Lake Indian Reservation in Wadsworth, NV. I am number four in a loving, big family of eight brothers and sisters. Throughout my younger years, I loved playing basketball and softball and as I got older, I realized how much I missed the comradery of team sports. After my third child was born, I joined Kaia FIT in Carson City, NV. I fell in love with Kaia immediately! The encouragement and support from the coaches and the other women was so powerful. I found my Tribe! We sold our business in Dayton, NV and relocated our family to my hometown in 2012. I tried to exercise on my own, but found it difficult to stay motivated. Thankfully, Kaia FIT Fernley opened in 2013 and I joined as soon as I found out! I began to believe in myself again. I felt powerful again. I began to love myself again. I have met amazing women who inspire me every day. The sense of belonging and the relationships created in our gym are genuine and real. We are a family. I recently had the opportunity to take my Kaia testimony to the next level and I am very proud to say I am now the owner of Fernley Kaia FIT! I feel so blessed to live this life. I want everyone I love, to feel as good as I do!

I am a 40-year-old stay at home mom to 5 beautiful children. I have worked from home for almost 19 years. Over the years I like so many moms had been so busy taking care of all my family that I totally forget about myself. I was the heaviest I had ever been and the most out of shape I’d ever been. I had tried to work out on my own with little success but quickly became bored and unmotivated. That’s when I was introduced to KAIA!! My Kaia journey started in 2014. A friend of mine invited me to come to a free class with her and told me “I know you will love it!” She was right! From the minute I walked in the door that morning I felt like I “belonged”. All of the women were welcoming, supportive, and motivating. Being raised myself in a very athletic family and my own family being very involved in sports I knew the importance of being part of a team. I found that Kaia was the “team” I needed to be a part of. The only difference is with Kaia you are only competing against yourself while supporting each other. That was exactly what I needed in my life for my fitness journey. A year after I began I was asked about becoming a Coach! I had never imagined that would be something I would ever do. It was so outside my comfort zone and one of the hardest things I have ever done; but here I am! I truly feel honored to share my journey, knowledge, and passion for Kaia with amazing women every day! #mytribe #kaiastrong.

Hello! My name is Trisha Conner. I’m native to the Wadsworth/Fernley, NV area. I’m a mother of three great kids, Tayva, Maya, Garrett and wife to my fun loving husband Chad Conner. I’ve had a love affair with fitness, strength and competition for as long as I can remember. Most of my life I’ve been fit enough to play team sports as a child and an adult and run a few 5K and 10Ks throughout the years. For many years my training consisted of sweating out to workout DVDs at home, running at the local gym or outside. But I was alone…. My cousin Lindsey mentioned to me Kaia Fit. She told me it was a women only FIT group similar to cross fit with obstacle courses, running, a place where no workout is the same and tons of encouragement and companionship. I was intrigued instantly and signed up January 2015 for the first Brik session of the year. I LOVED it! Kaia Fit to me is a place I can go to get a challenging workout. I’ve met so many women who love to work out as much as I. It’s a place I feel I belong. I’ve been blessed to be a Kaia Koach for the Fernley location it’s a passion of mine I hold dear to my heart. The strong bonds and relationships with other women are priceless. Kaia Fit Fernley is my Tribe!
