Kaia Fit Placerville

Meditation/Yoga came to me at a young age with a battle with insomnia. Every time my mind wandered, I’d bring my thoughts back to my breath & body. I attended my first yoga class in 2013 and it was magic my soul. Taking yoga class became a weekly routine. Every time I came home from class I was much happier, calmer and nicer.

In 2017 I signed myself up for yoga training, not to be a teacher but to have more mental clarity, calmness and connection to myself and life around me. It was soul food like I’d never had before. I taught Yoga at Kaia Placerville in 2017-2018 but life pulled me away from teaching, but continued my own practice. Fast forward 5 years later I’m back to teaching at Kaia. For me Yoga is trying to be mindful in all aspects in life, breath work, stretching, community and sweat. All those are also important in life and health. My goal is just to make people feel better in their body and laugh. I believe laughter is the best medicine, next to yoga. Cheers, see y’all on your mat!

If I could have a super power it would be to heal people through laughter and hugs.
