Programs

1. What is a BRIK?

Our BRIK sessions (also known as boot camps) are 6 weeks/ and typically 5 days a week. These sessions  offer QUICK and GREAT results from weight & body fat loss to strength and confidence. We call them BRIK’s because each one builds upon the other. Endurance athletes train in ‘briks’ in order to increase endurance, strength, and flexibility. We gradually add on to skills that were learned and perfected the previous BRIK. During BRIK’s we do physical assessments, offer a nutritional plan with 3 levels to meet everyone’s needs, a shopping guide, form teams, and have a blast! We offer 3 Kaia cross-training workouts, Kaia Flow on Fridays, and a Saturday run/jog/walk at a local trail. Classes may vary depending on your location.

2. What is a CORE session?

The CORE session are  5 weeks/4 days a week  that increases cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength. Classes include 2 Kaia cross-training workouts, Kaia Flow on Fridays, and a Saturday run/jog/walk at a local trail. Also a Kaia Nutritional Guide to help you with making healthy food choices and weight loss.

3. What is your running program?

I Kan Run is a 6-10 week program that meets 2-3 days a week. The program works on developing running skills that can increase speed, endurance, and overall fitness.

4. What is I Kan Tri?

I Kan Tri is our triathlon training program which typically runs for 10 weeks, meeting 3 days a week & includes biking, swimming, & running, plus a couple Kaia Cross-training classes. Mock-triathlons are held several times to familiarize yourself with the route and water. We finish the program with a local sprint or Olympic distance triathlon like… Tahoe Iron Girl-it is a BLAST and worth all the hard work to say “I did it!”

5. What is TRX?

TRX is suspension training that uses your body weight for resistance. Suspension bands are hung from the ceiling, allowing a 360 degree rotation to target all muscle groups and challenge stability and balance.
